Krithi Nathan

Dancer. Choreographer. Teacher

Krithi is an active, passionate dancer from the Boston area, who always endeavors to tell a personal narrative through her choreography and performance. Trained in Bharatnatyam from the age of 5 and Kathak since 2021, she credits classical dance to be the foundation of her skill. Versatility is an integral part of her skillset so you'll always find her dancing to many styles such as contemporary, jazz, jazzfunk, heels, Indian folk, and Bollywood.

Krithi has performed Bharatnatyam extensively locally and in India since a very young age, even appearing on Doordarshan  Chandana TV in Bangalore. She further trained under Smt Jothi Raghavan and participated in many group stage productions, notably acting as ‘Rukmini’ in Srimad Bhagavatham and ‘Radha’ in Shringara Triveni.

She was a company dancer and choreographer for Boston Bollywood for 5 seasons, where she explored different dance styles, choreographed pieces for bi-annual showcases, and conducted workshops. Further expanding on her teaching experience, she taught in -person and virtual Bollywood dance classes for children and teens at the Academy of Creative Arts in Burlington, MA from 2018-2023. She also got opportunities to choreograph for first dances, host workshops, perform for company events, and hold dance camps here over her 5 year tenure.

To further her growth as an artist, she pursued professional dance training in Mumbai, India from 2025-2026 where she completed the 3 month Intensive Training Program(ITP) at Nrityashakti studios and emerged as one of the top 5 dancers of her batch. She was handpicked by acclaimed dancer Shakti Mohan to be part of her performance group Mohan Sisters Live(MSL), starring Shakti, Mukti, and Neeti Mohan. She went on to perform at prestigious venues in various Indian cities (Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Center Mumbai, NSCI Dome Mumbai, VIT Chennai, VIT Vijaywada) alongside acclaimed dancers Shakti Mohan & Terence Lewis, MSL, and fusionist Shivanshu Soni to name a few.

Currently, Krithi continues to explore her art through visual media, producing dance films for her Youtube channel and conducting dance workshops in the Boston area. She enjoys meeting and collaborating with photographers, cinematographers, and dancers and finds it fascinating to express her art to a wider audience. She also understands the value of a good teacher and finds any opportunity to make a difference in the way people find passion in dance.

Leaving powerful impressions through numerous solo and collaborative projects, Krithi strives to create, but always with intent.
